Dave,
Wanted to let you know that we were very impressed with the work accomplished pruning our trees earlier this week. Your lead was Phil; I apologize for not remembering the names of the other members. Your crew worked efficiently, and we feel that we received excellent value. Kudos to the team.
We were especially pleased, and impressed, with your lead employee Phil: he was on-site a few minutes earlier than we expected, spent a few minutes discussing what we wanted and asked about any concerns we might have, then went at the job full tilt; he maintained his work effort through-out the day, including providing direction for your additional staff.
He was continually mindful of my earlier instructions, and checked with me periodically for additional input; this was very much appreciated, and somewhat unexpected since my typical experience with service providers is that they only interact with the customer grudgingly, in ill humor if at all, an attitude which mitigates against repeat business of course.
Phil also impressed with his facility with the cherry-picker, spending just a couple minutes figuring out where to position the truck for efficacy, then moving the basket in 3-dimensional space rapidly and with great efficiency, while clearly giving all due diligence and care to being safe; a virtuoso performance resulting in great value to us.
Another area in which Phil excelled: we have a grassy area surrounded by trees, with sufficient slope that some turf was damaged by the truck tires when backing out. Phil observed the damage , immediately assumed responsibility (did not even ask for any accommodation from us), sent one of the guys to buy topsoil and grass seed and repaired the damage. A very impressive performance; gets an “excellent” in customer satisfaction from us.
We would certainly positively recommend this team.

Dear Folks at Tall Timbers,
I appreciated the walk-about with Dave C. explaining which trees had beetle kill. Thank your 3 men who removed the trees and did such a fine job! Work was conducted with care & safety. No time was wasted. You have a great attitude. No mess was left behind. In spite of the sorrow of loss of these trees we still, thankfully, have many nice ones left & are hopeful for them!
