The cold winters in Colorado may not seem like the ideal time to prune but this actually could be the best time to keep your trees health prosperous going into the spring and summer months.

Our trees remain dormant during the winter months but that does not mean they are immune to the cold and dry conditions. Trees will experience stress from the winter weather, they may not show it, but it is usually due to a lack of water.
